In The Cut is an independent music publication dedicated to documenting the raw, unfiltered heart of live music and the culture that surrounds it. We exist to build real community: amplifying artists, photographers, and voices that deserve to be seen and heard. Through live music photography, show reviews, artist interviews, and scene coverage, we celebrate the moments that happen between the noise. Moments caught in the cut.
Our Story
In The Cut started as a passion project built out of late nights and a deep love for music that connects people. What began as a simple desire to capture the energy of live music turned into something bigger. A community for people who feel at home in the crowd.
We noticed something missing in music media: authenticity. Too many outlets chase clicks and hype instead of humanity. So we chose a different path. We don’t just cover music, we care about artists and the stories that shape their sound. We’re here for the underground kids, the DIY believers, the local bands playing their hearts out, and the fans who never miss a show because music is more than background noise to them. It’s life.
In The Cut isn’t corporate. It’s built by people who show up: photographers in the pit, writers in the crowd, artists on the rise, and music lovers who still believe in the power of community. We create because we feel something, and we share because we want you to feel it too.
