Mac Saturn- by Cait Devall

Mac Saturn made their Baton Rouge debut on Wednesday, May 13 at Chelsea’s Live, bringing the Bound South Tour through Louisiana for a night that had the whole room dancing.

Mac Saturn’s mix of funk, rock, and soul translates insanely well live. From the first song, the energy in the room completely shifted. People were dancing, singing along, and feeding right back into the band’s energy the entire set.

Frontman Carson Macc kept the crowd engaged all night, joking between songs and making the show feel intimate in a way that really worked for a venue like Chelsea’s. The band sounded tight from start to finish, and every song felt bigger live.

One of the best parts of the night was how much fun the band looked like they were having on stage. That energy spread through the crowd fast, turning the whole set into one giant groove-heavy dance party.

For their first time playing Baton Rouge, Mac Saturn absolutely left an impression, and if the reaction from the crowd said anything, it’s that people are already ready for them to come back.
